Channel 4’s #Superhumans

Paralympics is a multi-international sporting event, which celebrates athletes with physical disabilities. In line with the 2016 summer Paralympics in Rio De Janeiro Channel 4 are promoting this event with their #Superhumans campaign.

My experience:

You could not believe my joy when this came through my email and I realised that I had been invited to Channel 4 headquarters to celebrate the return of the #Superhumans.

Channel 4's #Superhumans A review by Tonique Campbell Bouji in London

You could not believe my joy when this came through my email and I realised that I had been invited to Channel 4 headquarters to celebrate the return of the #Superhumans.

Arriving at Channel 4 headquarters I was amazed on how big Channel 4 is, I was quite overwhelmed that I was actually there! I also loved that their #Superhumans campaign could be seen throughout the building.

The night began with inspiring talks, laughter from the last leg and music from the #Superhumans band and of course I got to preview the long anticipated #Superhumans advert campaign. A truly inspiring campaign that saw more disabled individuals than any other advertising campaign! Channel 4 did us proudly!

Channel 4’s hospitality was absolutely amazing, serving vegetable curry.

Shredded duck on a bed of salad with cashews and watermelon.

They had a signature honey and ginger based cocktail, which was surprisingly good, alongside wine. I picked up this glass of coconut water and dragonfruit which was quite cool and refreshing.

Price: [Complimented event]

What to wear: Smart casual- I wore a fitted blazer, blouse with jeans and heels. The majority of men were in suits and women in blazers or summer dresses.
