Pergola Paddington A review by Tonique Campbell Bouji In London Pergola Paddington A review by Tonique Campbell Bouji In LondonThis time last month, I was sitting on a bench with the sun on my face and a glass of cider in my right hand. I had finally got to experience a fun day at Pergola.
Pergola Paddington A review by Tonique Campbell Bouji In London Pergola Paddington A review by Tonique Campbell Bouji In LondonA 5-minute walk from Paddington station, Pergola is a hidden alfresco garden that is a getaway from a day of work or a night out with friends. The garden is beautifully designed and is a picture perfect escape. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a free frozen margarita, which was just what I needed after a long day of work. The margarita is so refreshing but is a sly creeper and what is more, it’s free if you sign up to Pergola’s newsletter.

Patty and Bun serve up their beloved beef Pattie burgers. Whilst Canard dish up innovative and traditional inspired duck dishes. DF/Mexico serve up Mexican dishes with a New Yorker twist whilst MAM is the Vietnamese barbecue restaurant and is the team behind Salvation in Noodles, so there is definitely something for everyone here.
Pergola Paddington A review by Tonique Campbell Bouji In LondonOf course, I had to go with Patty and Bun because I absolutely their burgers! I went for the Jose Jose chilli burger, made with a beef patty, cheese, tomato, lettuce, chilli sobrassada relish, pickled onions, ketchup, smokey P&B mayo sitting on sweet brioche burger bun. For only £9 this burger is a real hunger quencher and is best served with their Rosemary fries.

Has a lover of Guacamole, I couldn’t get more of the nachos and we were so close to ordering another batch!

Overall I loved my experience at Pergola and it is a great place to hang out with friends. I will definitely be back as there are a lot more sunny days to come!
