Benefit cosmetics have recently joined my makeup bag and I thought I would review some of their newest and best selling products for you guys!A FULL FACE OF BENEFIT COSMETICS TONIQUE CAMPBELL BOUJI IN LONDONA FULL FACE OF BENEFIT COSMETICS BY TONIQUE CAMPBELL BOUJI IN LONDONFirstly, to create any Benefit look, it is vital to have a strong base! I applied the pore professional pearl primer to my face, which is a soft radiance face primer to minimise the look of pores. This is the power of POREfessional but with added brightening! Benefit says

‘This soft radiance primer instantly minimises the look of pores and locks onto makeup, targeting pores and silliness and helps skin look bright, boosted and awake!’

For application, I placed one pump into the palm of my hand and smoothed into my skin, ensuring that my nose and forehead were particularly covered as these are the areas where I need to be mattifyed the most.

Benefit self-evaluated 100 women for a week and the results showed

-90% said their complexion looked brighter

-91% said it minimised the look of their pores

-96% said it created a soft matte radiance.

For me, I do agree that the pore professional pearl primer does give a soft matte radiance, as I felt that it aided in blurring my skin, leaving me with a soft base that is ready for foundation. For foundation, I am taking the Hello Happy soft blur foundation, which is a sheer to medium coverage liquid foundation with SPF 15 PA. Benefit say that this is a

‘Soft blue foundation that looks like skin and feels like nothing at all.’

For application, I took the foundation in shade 9, which is a deep neutral shade, which is quite surprising as I usually take a golden or warm undertone but this colour is a perfect match. I applied using one pump of the foundation and worked the foundation in with a beauty blender and blended in.

After testing on 103 women after a week, it was revealed that

-99% said it feels lightweight

-98% said it feels breathable

-95% said it gives natural-looking coverage

I have to agree on how lightweight and natural-looking the foundation is, however, due to having old scarring on my left cheek from my teenage years, I need a foundation that gives me medium to full coverage. Therefore, for me this foundation was my least favourite benefit product. I would compare this foundation to a tinted moisturiser that would be good to use for days when I want my foundation to be more natural looking.

To concealer my under eye area, I am taking the boi-ing brightening concealer in shade number 5, which is for tan warm tones. Benefit says

‘Say goodbye to dull, tired eyes, dark circles and discolouration with boi-ing brightening concealer. This full coverage, creamy concealer contains brightening melon undertones to colour-correct under eye circles & imperfections.’

For application, I took the concealer with the tip of my index finger and patted in underneath my eye area, and later blended in with a beauty blender. For me this concealer is perfect as it is rich in colour, pigment, and coverage. I love the creamy consistency of this concealer and how it brightens the under eye area, making the eyes appear more illuminated with no trace of dullness.Going in with the newest product from Benefit, this is the Roller liner eyeliner and I chose the colour in true matte black. Benefit says

‘Get Matte! Get Even! Roller Liner glides on a natural-looking, fine line…and quick-dries to a deep, dark true matte black which is 24-hour waterproof, natural-matte finish, that won’t fade, flake, bleed or smudge.’

Benefit did self evaluation on 101 women, using the Roller Liner Eyeliner after a week and

-94% said it creates a smooth and continuous line

-93% said it does not tug or drag on the skin

-91% said it stays put

I loved using this roller liner eyeliner, as the application is so easy to use. The precision felt tip is so sturdy, which made the application seamless, giving me a perfect winged liner. I have to agree with the statistics as I wore the liner at a recent influencer event and my liner lasted throughout the night! To finalise my look, I am taking the award winning Benefit Roller Lash mascara. Winning both the CEW Beauty Award and COPRA awards in 2016. Benefit says

‘It’s a roller for lashes! The eye-opening Hook ‘n’ Roll brush grabs, separates, lifts, and curls? While the instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours.’

What is even more is that this mascara contains provitamin B5 and serin, which are ingredients that are renowned for their lash-conditioning benefits. After testing 31 women after 4 weeks

-97% said it visibly lifts lashes

-87% said it gives a long-lasting Curl

-94% said eyes look more wide open

I love how this mascara aided in stretching and lifting my lashes, leaving me with roller curled lashes. So throw away your old lash curlers, as this mascara will give you those curled long lashes that you crave for!
