Huda Kattan is an award-winning beauty blogger and beauty guru that launched Huda Beauty in 2013. Huda beauty is one of the fastest growing beauty brands and the products speak for themselves. Huda has recently added to her obsessions range bringing out her nude palettes and I am here for it! These highly pigmented palettes are a slim lined edit from her original nude palette and comes in 3 shades light, medium and rich. The Nude obsessions light eye shadow palette is mixture of light and creamy nude tones for both warm and cool tones. This palette ranges from peachy shades, with a pop of lavender and mauve shade. With earthly nude and champagne shimmers, which can create a dimensional metallic eye shadow, look. The Nude obsessions palette in medium is one of Huda’s favourites. The palette is a mix of medium neutral nude tones of chestnuts and deep browns and is perfect for any skin tones. For metallic shimmers you can find warm shades of yellow and rose gold tones as well as rustic copper, dusty pink, coral, and terracotta shades.Lastly, the Nude obsession palette in rich is a luxe selection of deep creamy matte shades. From dark chocolate browns, crimson red, dusty rose and sandy fawn with pink undertones. For metallic shades, think of burnished gold, blushed bronze, dusty rose and deep brown metallics, which can create any dimensional eye look! When creating this look, I used the Nude obsessions palette in medium; this is my favourite palette from the range and holds shades that suit my skin tone. I was excited to try out this palette, as apart from the faux filter foundation I do not have anything else from Huda Beauty. I firstly applied a neutral taupe colour for my base. Personally, I find it essential to have a base colour eyeshadow, as it aids in making the more metallic eyeshadows you apply in the latter pop! I then brushed over the top of my eyelid with a burnt orange nude shade and blended in to give a more dimensional look. I then applied a deep copper shade and pressed into my eyelid. I also dampen the eyeshadow brush as it aids in creating a metallic foil effect. To emphasise my metallic eye, I added the golden colour and blended in the two metallics shades together. For my lash line, I placed an iridescent plum colour to make my eyes pop! I then used a brighter iridescent mauve colour and place in the corner of my eyes.To finish off this look, used Huda beauty power bullet matte lipstick in ‘Dirty Thirty’ and placed on my lips. Dirty Thirty is a sassy purply brown with a cool undertone and sits perfectly with this bright look! I am not usually a fan of matte lipsticks so I am so surprised that I fell in love with this lipstick, however it is so soft on the lips, and my lips felt so nourished.
